Our installations meet or exceed the ANSI/TIA/EIA - 568-A standard. We address the requirements for the entrance facility, the equipment room, backbone cabling, the telecommunications closet, horizontal cabling and the work-area components. CNS has heavily invested in the best equipment and training possible to keep up with the latest emerging trends (such as GPON and FTTx certification) that are rapidly becoming commonplace. We use our fusion splicer for the installation of all fiber ends as opposed to the unreliable and high loss mechanical connections used by most installers. We purchase fiber pigtails with manufactured ends and fusion splice the pigtails to the pulled fiber. This type of connection produces the lowest losses possible and has the best mechanical strength and is the fiber installation method we intend to use on this project (this method is over and above the stated specifications and not called for or required in the specifications)
CNS provides full cable test results to its clients after job completion. All work we complete will labelled, and tested with leading industry grade testing Fluke Fiber/CAT6 test equipment.
CNS is the only technology company on-island with its own IT, cabling, & certified WI-FI security professionals in-house. This means we can implement a full IT network from 'A to Z' comprised of both structured cabling and wireless - and test the security of it. Implementing and Testing the security from the ground up in an integrated cabling/wireless solution is paramount, and should not be left as an afterthought.
