This is the main reason clients come to us for hosting. They’ve moved email, files and phones to the cloud and want to be done with on-premise equipment, but QuickBooks Desktop still needs a server. The usual advice is to switch to QuickBooks Online or Xero, and that means converting years of records, rebuilding reports, replacing add-ons and retraining the finance team.
Hosting removes that choice. Your existing QuickBooks Desktop, with the same company files, history and add-ons, moves to our data centre. The last server leaves your office, and your whole team can work fully remote.

Closed to the internet, open to your team
Remote Desktop servers open to the internet are a favourite target for ransomware. Ours sit behind NetBird zero trust network access (ZTNA), with nothing open to the public internet, so attackers can’t even find them.

Hosted QuickBooks questions
Do we have to switch to QuickBooks Online or Xero?
No. You keep QuickBooks Desktop, your company files and your add-ons. Only where it runs changes.
How do staff open QuickBooks?
They connect with the NetBird VPN app, then open a Remote Desktop session to the hosted server, or whatever the application needs. We set this up on each computer.
Who provides the QuickBooks licence?
You supply the licence. If you need a new one, we’re happy to try to procure it for you.
Can you host our files as well?
This service is for applications that can’t move to the cloud. For shared files we recommend Microsoft 365 with OneDrive and SharePoint, which we also set up and support.
Where is our data stored?
On our servers in a hurricane-rated data centre in the Cayman Islands. It stays in the jurisdiction unless you agree otherwise in writing.
