Website questions
How long does a new website take?
It depends on the number of pages and how ready the wording is. We’ll give you a timeline with the quote, and you’ll see designs before anything is built.
How is it priced?
The design and build is a fixed quote for the agreed pages and features. After launch, hosting and website care are one monthly fee, which includes up to an hour of content updates each month. Larger changes are quoted before we start.
Can we update the website ourselves?
Yes. We build on WordPress and show your team how to edit pages, add news and change photos. If you’d rather not, send us the changes and we’ll make them as part of the hour of updates included each month.
Who owns the website?
You do: the domain, the content and the design. If you ever move to another provider, we’ll hand everything over.
Can you take over our existing website?
Usually, yes. We’ll review it first, then move it to our hosting and bring it up to date, or recommend a rebuild if it’s not worth saving.
Do you host email as well?
We recommend Microsoft 365 for business email, which we also manage. Keeping the website, domain and email with one provider means DNS changes don’t break your email.
